Information collected when you use the site
Public pages may receive normal web-server information such as IP address, request time, browser/user-agent information and the URL requested. Some tools use an IP-derived hash or similar technical identifier for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Browser features may store local preferences, recent tool history or interface state on your device.
Optional EVE SSO
EVE login is optional. If you choose to connect a character, EVE Single Sign-On returns identifiers and authorization tokens needed for the connected features you requested. Authentication material is handled server-side; connected-character features can include pilot selection, skill-aware fitting and saved-fit workflows. Never enter your EVE password directly into EveDashboard — authentication should occur on the official EVE SSO flow.
Google advertising and cookies
EveDashboard includes Google AdSense code on some pages and may display Google advertising after approval. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to provide, measure and personalize advertising where permitted. Google explains how it uses information from partner sites in its own privacy documentation. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Third-party services
The site can request information from CCP/EVE services, zKillboard and EveDashboard/EVE Syndicates market services. Those services have their own privacy and logging practices. External links leave EveDashboard and are governed by the destination site.
Data retention and security
Operational logs, rate-limit records, caches, connected-character data and saved fits may be retained as needed to operate and secure the service. Retention can vary by data type. Reasonable technical controls are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
